These quarter-turn fasteners provide a quick, secure way to attach race car body panels, interior panels, access covers, and other components that require frequent removal. The quarter-turn design allows panels to be secured or removed with a simple 90° rotation, making them ideal for racing and performance applications.

Selecting the Correct Grip Length

Fastener length is specified by grip length, rather than the overall length of the fastener. For standard button-head fasteners, measure from the underside of the head to the bottom of the spring-locking area. Flush-head fasteners are measured from the top of the head to the bottom of the locking area.

The correct grip length depends on the total thickness of the panels and mounting components being secured. Always verify your required grip length before ordering.

Spring Compatibility

Springs are identified by the distance between the spring's rivet centers. Common spring sizes include 3/4", 1", and 1-3/8". As a general guideline, 3/4" springs are commonly paired with 1/4" fasteners, 1" springs with 5/16" fasteners, and 1-3/8" springs with 7/16" fasteners. Spring height is also available in different configurations to accommodate different panel thicknesses and applications.

Note: Proper grip length and spring selection are important for achieving the correct tension and secure engagement. If you are replacing an existing fastener, measuring the original fastener and spring is recommended before ordering.
