To make the installation of our Modern Racing's Solid-State Battery Disconnect easy and straightforward, we offer this plug-and-play harness. Modern Racing's Solid-State Battery Disconnect (SSBD), provides layers of safety for your car, and our Plug-and-Play Solid-State Battery Disconnect Harness makes installation easy!
This harness is designed to work with Pro Stock and Pro Mod chassis to effortlessly route and install the necessary wires. There’s no need for cutting, splicing, or guesswork, as our kits are designed to plug into the required components to make your car safe and NHRA legal. Options/Ignition Harness
The standard harness will plug into the components included in the Solid-State Battery Disconnect Master Kit. The pre-installed terminals will plug into the SSD Deutsch plug, bumper/track crew switch, driver switch, and fire-suppression pressure switch.
The Ignition Harness option (shown in the dropdown menu above) combines the ignition circuit/harness for the NHRA-required parachute bottle switch to your ignition. If your parachute bottle pressure drops, this circuit will deactivate your ignition—per NHRA rules for Pro Mod and Pro Stock classes. By adding this ignition harness, you make installation even more convenient by combining two harnesses into one.
Chassis
Plug-and-Play Pro Stock Battery Disconnect Harness is made specific to each chassis, so please select your chassis when ordering. If your chassis/builder is not listed, please add your chassis in the notes.
NOTE:
Please note, that all harnesses will be shipped in a blue-colored saturated-fiberglass sleeving. This is an additional item of safety and allows for easier troubleshooting.
