Modern Racing completed one of the first NHRA ProCharger conversions last season. The Elite Motorsports ProMod driven by Clint Hairston and Steve Matusek was used for exhibition passes at select dates. Now, ProChargers are accepted for competitive use in the NHRA ProMod series beginning this 2020 season.

Since this past winter, Modern Racing has completed other NHRA ProCharger conversions. With this first-hand experience, Modern Racing has developed components to make your swap quick and easy—getting you back to the podium.

Our custom ProCharger Fuel Cells are proven and tested to work with ProCharger F3R, X-140, or similar head units (part number PC314A-140/PC316A-140), providing ample airflow and fuel capacity (7 gallons). All in-house ProCharger conversions use this tank.

Modern Racing strives itself on quality work, that wins championships—not just races. The tanks are anodized black for a tough, abrasion-resistant coating and superior look. A billet cap, with the Modern Racing laser-etched logo, is included. We purposely designed the height and shape of the tank to reduce turbulence of the fuel. Also, an internal vent keeps fuel from splashing out on the track.

The tank features a 1.5 inch outlet, -10AN return, and a -6AN at the bottom designed for a primer pump (UPDATE: Our newest design {Not pictured} utilizes a -20 female port for fuel, with twin -12 female ports for returns, and a -6 female port for a primer pump.
